Stewardship & Impact
Generosity is an act of trust. We believe you deserve to understand how Tithle cares for the gifts entrusted to its mission.
Our long-term goal is to preserve donated principal through responsible investing and use available investment earnings to support orphans, widows, and people facing hunger. Investments carry risk, and neither returns nor charitable distributions are guaranteed.
Our Commitment
Explain our approach plainly, distinguish gifts from investment performance and expenses, and publish actual financial results only after they have been reviewed.
Our Donation Ledger
We believe transparency begins with showing the generosity entrusted to Tithle. Below is a record of received donations by month and amount, without donor names or identifying details. These are contribution amounts—not investment returns or charitable distributions.

Financial Stewardship at a Glance
We want to report both what has been entrusted to Tithle and how those resources are being stewarded. The current portfolio balance is a point-in-time market value, not the amount originally donated or a measure of investment gains.

Keeping Operating Costs Low
Tithle's board members serve without salaries and personally cover the organization's remaining operating costs. Donation processing and portfolio-related charges are the primary costs currently associated with donated funds and investments.
| Cost | How it is handled |
|---|---|
| Board compensation | No salaries are paid to board members. |
| Online donation processing | Stripe nonprofit transaction-processing fees apply to relevant gifts (approximatley 2.5%). |
| Portfolio-related costs | Motley Fool portfolio-related costs are currently estimated at approximately 1%; the calculation basis and reporting period should be confirmed before publishing a formal expense ratio. |
| Other operating costs | Covered personally by board members rather than paid from donations. |
Detailed Financial Reporting
Our donation ledger is updated from recorded gifts. A detailed financial report covering invested principal, investment performance, actual expenses, and charitable distributions will be added after the underlying figures are reconciled and approved for publication.
Contributions received, principal invested, portfolio value, expenses, and charitable distributions are distinct measures. Portfolio value minus invested principal is not necessarily the reported investment gain or loss for a given year.
Our First Charitable Distribution
Tithle has not yet made a charitable distribution. We are working toward a first distribution before the end of 2026 and will report the actual amount, recipient, and purpose after it occurs.
Distributed to Date
$0.00
As of October 28, 2026
Planned First Distribution
$3,000.00–$5,000.00
Goal: by December 31, 2026
This is a goal, not a guaranteed distribution. The final amount and timing will depend on available funds, investment results, and the applicable review and approval process.
Understanding Our Stewardship Model
Four distinct parts of the story help make our approach easier to understand.
Donated Principal
Contributions become charitable assets of Tithle. Our long-term investment approach seeks to preserve principal, although market losses can reduce the value of invested funds.
Investment Results
Income, gains, and losses are reported separately from donations. Investment performance varies, and positive returns are not assured in any given year.
Operating Expenses
Responsible administration requires some spending. We believe these costs should be explained clearly so donors can understand how the organization is supported.
Charitable Distributions
When funds are available and distributions are approved, Tithle seeks to support charitable efforts aligned with its mission. The amount and timing may vary.
The People We Seek to Serve
Our mission is rooted in Christ's call to care for people who are vulnerable and in need.
Orphans & Vulnerable Children
Care, stability, and encouragement for children facing difficult circumstances.
Widows
Practical support and compassionate relationships for widows experiencing hardship.
People Facing Hunger
Food assistance and efforts that help families build greater stability.
